December 4–5, 2025 — During a visit to Chongqing, Huang Guo, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Commissioner of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), conducted a site visit to Chongqing Precision Biotech Co., Ltd. to review the company’s activities in scientific innovation, product development, and industrialization.Prof. Qian Cheng, Chairman and Chief Scientist of the company, accompanied the visit along with the senior management team and provided an overview of the company’s operations.

During the visit, Huang noted that Chongqing, as an important hub in western China, has a solid industrial foundation and development potential, providing favorable conditions for the growth of the biopharmaceutical sector. He emphasized the importance of sustained investment in basic research and innovation-driven development, particularly in areas such as advanced generic drugs, cell and gene therapy, and artificial intelligence.

He also highlighted the role of contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) in supporting industry growth, as well as the importance of expanding into international markets. In addition, he stressed the need to maintain quality and safety standards and to ensure full compliance with regulatory responsibilities.
